There are different reasons why women wish to get breast augmentation operations. Others feel more feminine with the extra curves; others do it for an advancement in their entertainment career. Some needed to get the operation because of health reasons, while some desire it because it boosts their self-esteem.
Others may view it disapprovingly, some may even it consider it as complete falseness, but it\’s not their choice; it\’s yours. Luckily, people nowadays have become more accepting of aesthetic operations, such as breast augmentation.
If you are thinking of having a breast enlargement, ask yourself some questions first. Why do you want it? It can be because of medical reasons, aesthetic reasons, or maybe you only need a little push up to increase your confidence. Whatever made you decide to have it, be certain it\’s what you desire and not because others would want you to have it. This may sound like a lecture, but it\’s your body thus you and only you have the right to decide what you desire with it.
Another thing to ask yourself: are you in good health? If you have had a mastectomy, or the surgical removal of breasts due to cancer, you would undoubtedly prefer to have breast augmentation. But if you have other goals, make sure you are in good health first. Breast augmentation operations may involve slicing you open and implanting you with silicon or saline before sewing you up. Or you can also be injected with an enhancement substance. Whichever method you choose, you will still face risk. You would require strength to recuperate from the operation.
Just what is the right size for you? Are you an AA size who wants to be a DDD overnight? But does it fit your figure? While every woman wishes to look sexy, having enormous chests may just look weird on you. And besides, your back may not be able to hold the sudden excess burden on your front, which could subsequently lead to further medical problems for you. Ask your friends and consult a medical expert which cup is right for you.
Is your surgeon licensed to operate the procedure? You never know, but there are those so-called plastic surgeons that do lousy jobs on patients. Ask others for referrals and go to a respected surgeon. They may cost a little more but taking chances with your body isn\’t worth it.
Do you have the time and patience to follow up your operation with regular check ups? This stage is not optional, it\’s compulsory. Don\’t get breast enlargement procedure if you can\’t have post-operation check ups. This will help identify if your new chests are getting problem or if your body is responding well to them. You can have it annually or every after a few years. The important thing is, get regular appointment at the doctor\’s office because your health counts on it.
Getting breast enhancement surgery isn\’t just a flippant thing that you may desire today and hate tomorrow. Whatever your reason for having one, make certain it is worth the risk.
