Drinking at inappropriate times, and behavior caused by reduced judgment, can lead to legal consequences, such as criminal charges for drunk driving or public disorder, or civil penalties for tortuous behavior. The social problems arising from alcoholism can be significant. Being drunk or hung over during work hours can result in loss of employment, which can lead to financial problems including the loss of living quarters.

Alcohol And Drugs Make A Deadly Combination

For many people, even today, the word alcoholic still carries a lot of shame. It suggests a damaged person somebody who is different from the rest of society, who has a different psychological or genetic makeup and therefore can’t drink. It is very difficult for most people to admit that they are different in any way from everyone else, it is even more difficult if that difference carries with it a sense of shame.

Depression Has So Many Ugly Forms

Even though there is clear scientific data that indicates irrefutably that a physical connection exists with most mental disorders, many people still stigmatize others because they stupidly hold on to the misguided beliefs of yesteryear that people with mental disorders are weak or just lack will power.Depression is the lack of positive thinking or loss of hopefulness. And unfortunately, because of the stigma that still exists concerning depression and its many forms like mental illness, many people who need help do not seek it.

Say Yes To Life No To Depression

Depression is a natural behavior of human beings but if it continues for a prolonged period, which can be a matter of concern. It’s an emotional disorder that can appear for a number of reasons like stress, fear or inability to attain a desired goal. So how do we boost our confidence? To maintain one’s confidence in these trying times can be difficult. It appears that everybody is depressed and moody, there aren’t any jobs, and all of the economic is confusing and not encouraging. This means we have to muster up all of our internal strength and find a way to tough it out.

Depression During Pregnancy

Do you feel like you are on the roller coaster of emotions during pregnancy? Few minutes of happy thoughts and after a second a move towards the dark and deep depression cave. Depression is common during pregnancy-between 14 percent and 23 percent of pregnant women will experience depressive symptoms while pregnant.
